"A Blessing from Our Hearts to Yours"

In this New Year, may God meet you in a special way:

Not by shielding you from sorrow and pain,

But by walking beside you when it comes;

Not by making your path easy,

But by upholding you on the hills and valleys of life’s journey;

Not by taking life’s struggles from you,

But by taking fear from your heart through his perfect love;

Not by granting you unbroken sunshine,

But by being your light, even on dark days;

Not by making your life always happy,

But by enlarging your heart through vulnerability;

And when you yield to the heart of the Father

And lean on him as his child,

He will open the eyes of your heart and enlarge your capacity to love.
