A Major Milestone for Jerry and Denise
Our 50th Anniversary!
It's been quite a while since we've posted anything, and as many of you know, there have been many changes over the past six months or so. These include moving to South Carolina and discontinuing our counseling ministry--to name a couple. We'll be writing again to share more about what has transpired in our lives, but this writing is focusing on something that is very dear to our hearts--the celebration of 50 years of marriage!
Who would have thought that starting to "go steady" in our Junior year of high school (1970) would have resulted in getting married three years later (June 30th, 1973), leading up to this very special milestone 50 years later!
We are very grateful for this special event and thus we wanted to share this with all of you. First, we are very grateful to the Father for bringing us together and watching over us all of these years. We are also grateful for all who have stood with us over the years and supported us in many different ways--including those who have trusted us with their lives through our counseling ministry.
Just as with all couples, our "story" is filled with highs and lows, but one thing is certain--our love for each other is deeper than ever and we pray that we will have many more years to enjoy each other and continue to fulfill whatever the Lord has in store for us.
